In November 2023, MiLaysia Fulwiley made a name for herself in the basketball world when a play of her taking the ball coast to coast for a basket in South Carolina’s season opener went viral. Basketball fans and fellow players took note of the her speed and impressive on-court moves, including Stephen Curry, who continued to follow her performances as the college season went on.
As the first collegiate athlete to sign with Curry Brand, MiLaysia will wear Curry Brand footwear on the court throughout the remainder of her college career at the University of South Carolina.
She won a national championship as a freshman.
You win some, you lose none. That’s the motto for the University of South Carolina’s undefeated season. 38 wins, 0 losses, and the 2024 NCAA Women’s Basketball title. MiLaysia Fulwiley finished as freshman player of the year, and one of the most exciting and electric players in the game.
So, Curry Brand dropped 10 billboards in Columbia.
